The panorama road starts 2 kilometers north of the centre of Kitzbühel.
In summer you can get directly to the Alpenhaus by car, bus, motorcycle or bicycle via the 7.5 kilometer long and 6 meter wide panorama road. The Alpenhaus has a large car park, suitable for high numbers of cars, buses and motorcycles.

Every year, the finish of the Austria cycle tour is a sporting highlight on the Kitzbüheler Horn. For all mountain bikers, racing cyclists or e-bike riders, conquering the Kitzbüheler Horn via the panorama road is a must. There is a maximum gradient of 22 percent to reach the Alpenhaus. After a successful bike tour, everyone in the Alpenhaus receives an award in the form of a bike sticker and can relax and recharge on the panorama terrace or in the restaurant.
